INSTRUCTOR

Winkie brings over six years of experience in Pilates and has recently expanded her movement repertoire with GYROTONIC®, teaching both group classes and private clients. Her Pilates journey began while studying in Australia, where she was struck by how profoundly the practice transformed her physical and mental well-being—unlike anything she had experienced during her years in gymnastics and tennis. Inspired by this shift, she began teaching in Australia before returning to Hong Kong to deepen her expertise. There, she trained under a Korean master, who introduced her to a distinctive technique that combines deep muscle engagement with fascial release work.

Rooted in both Australian athleticism and Korean precision, Winkie’s East-meets-West approach defines her unique teaching style. Her sessions integrate posture correction, flexibility, deep muscle activation, and body toning with thoughtful, mindful movement.

She has worked with a wide range of clients—from those seeking challenging workouts to those managing specific conditions such as pre- and post-natal recovery, scoliosis, sciatica, leg length discrepancies, and slipped discs. Passionate about holistic wellness, Winkie creates an inclusive, empowering environment where clients feel supported, strong, and confident. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and is excited to support the vibrant community at SmartFit Pilates.
