MindBody app: ‘How to’ GUIDE
We joined forces with MindBody some time ago for one reason and one reason only: to make booking private sessions and group classes easier for you, our lovely clients! Read on for a step-by-step guide on how to schedule and cancel your SmartFit workouts…
How to book a Group Class:
Open the MindBody app and make sure you are logged in
In the search bar at the top, search for ‘SMARTFIT’
Tap ‘CLASSES’
Select your preferred day and/or time
Browse the available classes for each day including the instructor and class type. Tap on a class to read more about it.
Important to note: SmartFit now has 2 studios in Tanglin Place! Look out for classes listed as held at ‘SmartFit - 1st floor’ (#01-01 Tanglin Place) and ‘SmartFit - 4th floor’ (#04-03 Tanglin Place).
Once you have selected your class, tap ‘BOOK’ and proceed through the steps to confirm your booking.
Look out for the confirmation email from MindBody.
How to book a Private Session:
To book a Private Session, please reach out to us on WhatsApp so we can better assist you.
How to add payment details:
Tap ‘Profile’ at the bottom of the screen in the MindBody app.
Tap ‘Payments’.
Add your card details when prompted.
Go through the steps above to book a Private Session or Group Class!
How to cancel a Group Class:
Tap the menu icon at the top-left of the screen (three horizontal lines) in the MindBody app.
Tap ‘My Classes’ and select the class/appointment you wish to cancel.
Tap ‘Cancel Booking’ at the bottom of the screen.
Tap to agree to the cancellation on the pop-up, and you’re done!
Please note: According to SmartFit’s cancellation policy, Group Classes must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, and Private Sessions at least 12 hours in advance. Cancellations made after these timeframes will be charged in full.
Current package not appearing in the MindBody app? Here’s how to sync it:
To see your current package, open the MindBody app, tap ‘Profile’ then tap ‘Your Passes’. If your package is not shown there, follow the steps below…
Open the MindBody app and tap on the ‘Profile’ icon at the bottom right corner.
Tap on the Settings gear at the top right.
Tap ‘Resend account confirmation email’ (or go to Account > ‘Resend account confirmation email’ on Android devices).
Check your email inbox for the verification email—it should arrive shortly.
Follow the steps in the email, log out of your MindBody app then log back in using your new password. Your current package should now be visible under the ‘Your Passes’ section. To check this, open the MindBody app, tap ‘Profile’ then tap ‘Your Passes’.
If this does not work, try following the steps below on the desktop version of the MindBody website…
Go to the MindBody website and sign in using your MindBody app account information.
Click ‘Places You Go’ on the left side then click ‘Start Searching’.
Under the ‘Find another MindBody business’ section type in ‘SmartFit Pilates’.
When our logo appears, click on it. If prompted, log in using the same email address and password that you use for the MindBody app / to book your SmartFit classes on our website.
Save your changes if prompted. Your account should now be linked and your current package should appear in the ‘Your Passes’ section. To check this, open the MindBody app, tap ‘Profile’ then tap ‘Your Passes’.
